Spring Break '09 Trip (to Pass Christian, Mississippi)

Who: Anyone!
What: Spring Break Service/Mission Trip to help with rebuilding efforts post-Hurricane Katrina
When: Spring Break Trip Dates, March 8th-14th
Where: Pass Christian, Mississippi (about an hour east of New Orleans/French Quarter)
Cost: Between $250-$300 (cost is somewhat dependent on gas prices)
Deposit:
Spring Break Trip: $100 deposit is due February 1, 2009 (please note: the deposit guarantees that your spot will be reserved for YOU! After February 1, seats on the van will only be available if the vans are not filled. So it is better to turn in a deposit sooner rather than later to save a seat!

Who we are working with, What we will be doing, Where we will be staying:
Who: We will be working with Project Reclaim (www.projectreclaim.com)
What: We will be serving where needed but we will primarily be working on building new homes (make sure you check out the pictures on the Project Reclaim website) All projects are in the construction phase--this could include anything from building decks, dry walling, painting siding and
more! No experience is necessary!! Just a flexible and servant-minded attitude!
Where: Mission on the Bay (www.missiononthebay.org)
This trip is a joint effort with Virginia Tech. We will meet up with them at the Mission and spend the week working together, side by side.
