To love and serve the orphans of Guatemala.
We will be partnering with Forever Changed International. Please visit their website at http://foreverchangedinternational.org/.
We will be staying at one of the houses at the Hannah’s Hope Orphanage in a gated community in Guatemala City that has its own security.
This is our second trip to Hannah’s Hope. Our previous trip was in July 2008.
The dates for the trip are Saturday, July 31, 2010 – Friday, August 6, 2010.
The cost of the trip is $800 (this will cover our meals and housing during the trip and the work that we will be doing throughout Guatemala during our stay) plus airfare, which is estimated to between $350 and $400. We will be sending out support letters to family and friends and we will be holding fundraising events to help with the cost of the trip.
If you are a student, you will need the consent of your parents to participate in the trip.
We will hold monthly meetings to build relationships within our team, pray for our trip and the people of Guatemala that we will encounter, help support and encourage each other, receive updates about the trip, and answer any questions or concerns that you might have.
The deadline to decide if you will participate is January 24, 2010. Your application and trip deposit will be due at that time. The deposit for our team is $300 so we will split that evenly among all of the team members.
